Electric valves are typically motor-driven, requiring a certain amount of time to complete opening or closing actions. They can be used for analog control and are suitable for regulation.
2. Operational Characteristics: Solenoid valves typically feature very low flow coefficients and operate under minimal pressure differentials. For instance, a standard 25mm solenoid valve has a significantly lower flow coefficient than a 15mm electric ball valve. Solenoid valves are driven by electromagnetic coils, making them susceptible to voltage surges. Functionally equivalent to switches, they perform only two actions: open and close.
