Working Principle and Structural Features of the CPOM Series Check Valve
Working Principle: This is a spring-loaded check valve. Liquid pressure from below pushes up against the spring-controlled disc. When pressure is released, the spring force pushes the disc down, blocking backflow. It is suitable for applications with smaller orifices.
Material: Sealing materials available include NBR (nitrile rubber), VITON (fluororubber), and EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer). The appropriate material can be selected based on the operating medium and temperature.
Installation and Usage Precautions (General Recommendations)
Installation Direction: Install according to the flow direction markings on the valve body, ensuring fluid flows from the inlet and outlet. Avoid reverse installation, which may cause malfunction.
Operating Conditions:
Media Compatibility: Select the appropriate hydraulic oil or fluid based on the sealing material to avoid corrosion of the seal.
Temperature Range: Conventional models are suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 100°C (high-temperature models, such as the HTV series, can withstand higher temperatures).
Operating Pressure: Must be used within the product's rated pressure range.
